A surprise announcement in Kiwi rugby circles today with confirmation Crusaders and Canterbury first-five Fergus Burke is departing New Zealand and heading for England, after signing a three-year deal with Premiership club Saracens. Burke will head for the northern hemisphere after this year's NPC. He is seen as the replacement for former England rugby captain Owen Farrell, who is heading to France to play his club rugby with Racing 92 at the end of the year.
It's Only Sport host Martin Devlin is joined by two people to dissect the news. First off it's The Times and RugbyPass writer Chris Jones out of the UK, who offers a foreign perspective on the signing and how it impacts Saracens. Then it's Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge who discusses how the move came about and what it means for his franchise.
