The Van Andel Arena itself, along with its sister-venue DeVos Place have changed the lifestyle and entertainment values that are now seen with a revitalized downtown area in Grand Rapids!! If you build it, book it and maintain it, everyone should come, but that is the constant challenge for MacKeigan, who, along with his great staff, have made Van Andel Arena one of the top venues in the country!!!!
