Bio:
Mayra Linares is a binational freelance photographer and filmmaker based in Madison, WI. She began producing and directing short films in 2010 during her undergraduate studies at the Tec de Monterrey in Queretaro, Mexico. She later earned a Fulbright-García Robles Scholarship to pursue an MA in Film and Digital Media through American University. When she's not behind the lens, you can find her strolling down the Yahara River with her beagle, family, or a good podcast.
