Do you feel dissatisfied with where you are or what you have ?
Do you justify or explain yourself too much ?
Do you feel like you have to hide some parts of you in order for you to be acceptable ?
I do.
For the longest part, I continued to live in the world looking for the right answers outside of me.
I looked for the right way of being, right things to say... but I am glad I realized this idea of right / wrong is flawed.
But even more importantly how this fear of making mistakes, fear of being wrong stopped me from being unapologetically myself
It kept me chasing an unrealistic idea of perfection that left me feeling discontent with myself.
I was always focused on fixing my flaws so I can become better
And that wasn’t an enjoyable experience and it actually delayed my growth
