This week the podcast focuses on Crinniu na nOg, a day of free creativity for children and young people, across the arts, culture, and heritage - now in its second year.
We talk to Roisin O’ Grady, Heritage Officer and Crinniu na nOg Co-ordinator for County Tipperary and John Hannafin, LIT lecturer on the Game Art and Design Course at LIT Clonmel about ‘Game On’, which is our own Crinniu event here at South Tipperary Arts Centre.
As well as the Crinniu, Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is just a fortnight away, and one of the highlights promises to be the conservation and unveiling of ‘People and A Frank Stella’ by Robert Ballagh, which was an iconic part of town life from the 1970’s all the way through to the ’90s. We talk to Marie McMahon, Curator of Tipperary County Museum and the woman responsible for overseeing the restoration project.
