Hmongshee Khang is the Community Health Coordinator for the Hmong and Hispanic Communication Network Project in Central Wisconsin (H2N). She started working in community health or public health during the pandemic. Health Equity has become a big passion of hers throughout her experience working in community health. Hmongshee used her passion for connecting with the elders in the Hmong community. Araceli and Hmongshe have a fun talk about how connecting generations was pivotal in the race to get vaccinated.

H2N is a community-based project that utilizes Community Coordinators (CC) and a network of Community Health Workers (CHW) to deliver messages about how to prevent the spread of COVID-19, reinforce the risks and long-term effects associated with COVID-19 infections, to educate about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, to build routineness around being immunized, and to help community members access COVID-19 vaccine.
