Host Russ Johns interviews #1 Amazon Best-Selling Author Mike Farris about his publishing journey, which started many years ago and which he continued on the side while practicing as an Attorney. The author of 15 books and some screenplays, his most recent book might be closest to his heart. This book, “Forty Hours,” tells his father’s story, and though a departure from his legal thrillers and other nonfiction books, it has all the elements of the hero’s journey and captures the reader’s to the end.
Also, Mike was lead counsel in the largest publishing case in history for the plaintiff in what has become known as the"Fifty Shades of Grey" lawsuit (Teacher Jennifer Lynn Pedroza v. Amanda M. Hayward and TWCS Operations Pty. Ltd. in the 153rd District Court in Tarrant County), which resulted in a plaintiff’s judgment, following a jury trial, over $13.2 million (which includes pre-judgment interest and attorney’s fees).
