Not all of us grew up with families that were involved in the southern heritage of hunting. Many of us were not able to enjoy family lands, farms, or even our dads hunting club. For those of us that ended up being interested in hunting late in life, it was quite the puzzle to put together and to figure out how, when, and where of hunting. Adult-Onset Hunting is a term that our friend Rick Austin titled his recent article in Trilogy Outdoors Magazine and one that he is all too familiar with. We sat and talked about how he got introduced to hunting and he and the Trilogy crew offer some great advice for any adults out there looking to get into the sport of hunting late in life. Its always better late than never and it can be a tradition that you are eventually able to pass on to your children and grandchildren. Enjoy and take a kid or adult hunting!!!!!!
