In the 1800s, the South Carolina city of Charleston would be rocked when traveling men started to disappear from a local hotel called The Six Mile Wayfarer House. The house was managed by Lavinia Fisher and her husband, John Fisher. This is where the legend would begin.
Lavinia and John were accused of robbing, kidnapping, and murdering countless men. Once the charges turned into a conviction, Lavinia would get the reputation of being the first female serial killer in the US.
