To protect and serve… or stalk and slaughter?

In this episode, we dive deep into Maniac Cop, the cult classic that fuses slasher horror with gritty New York crime drama. Written by Larry Cohen and starring genre legends Bruce Campbell and Tom Atkins, Maniac Cop turns authority into terror, asking a simple but chilling question: what if the person you trust most is the one hunting you?

With its grimy city atmosphere, brutal kills, and a killer in uniform, the film stands out as one of the most unique slashers of the late 80s — blending exploitation, paranoia, and action into one unforgettable ride.
