There's some real head-banging in the cave this time as we look at two fun little low-budget indies that focus on the evil side of rock and roll! We start off with 2019's "Death to Metal" from director Tim Connery. It's a blend of many stories you've seen before, wrapped up in a big bow with a transformed priest who begins murdering all the metalheads he can find. It's got some fun moments throughout and is quite an acheivement when you consider the conditions it was produced in. We follow that with 2017's "Deathgasm" which REALLY knocks it out of the park! Directed by Jason Lei Howden, whose filmography is packed with a lot of special effects makeup jobs, it is a full-speed-ahead gorefest where a heavy metal band accidentaly unleashes a zombie apocalypse and then tries to undo the damage. This one is a blast and we highly recommend it! Both movies are available for free through Tubi, so go check'em out!
