The small town of Gaffney, South Carolina would be plagued with missing women and murders for a whole year between 1967 and 1968 and would be terrified to be out at night.
Annie Dedmond would be found dead and naked, in the middle of the highway with ligature marks on her neck after a night of drinking with her husband Roger, and he would be sentenced to 18 years in prison for her murder... But was he the one truly responsible?
Three more victims ranging from 26 years old to 14 years old would be found naked and left in the woods covered with brush or pine needles and dumped like they weren't even human.
