Together, they discuss the origins of the Guitar Institute of Technology (where Keith and Don both taught), their shared history as music educators, how guitar learning methods have evolved over the decades, and their musical development as guitarists in Los Angeles.

I was a GIT student from September 1981 through September 1982. It was great to hear Don and Keith give the history and context of things before and after my brief time there. It was great hearing them talk about players and some of whom were my friends, and others heroes. Scott Henderson was a student then, and Jeff Berlin had just come on staff at BIT (both heroes). Pat Martino was also there. I've often wished I could go back and experience that time as a more fully developed human! 😄
