Sarah Reynolds has been a member of Nederlands Dans Theater since 2004 She has
created and danced ballets by Jiri Kylian, Sol León and Paul
Lightfoot, Crystal Pite, Johan Inger, Hans van Manen, Mats Ek
and many other guest choreographers with NDT. I was fortunate to have been coached by this powerhouse of a woman at the 2019 Summer Intensive. Being in her environment with endless wisdom on the approach to a single step was the greatest reminder of how important the process is. Dropping the perfectionist mindset is one of the hardest tasks to embrace and learn to let go of as a professional dancer. Sarah and I dive into that process, being a mother while dancing, touring, working with many different choreographers, and how its a much different time for the dancers that are up and coming today. Please enjoy this wonderful episode featuring a woman I truly aspire to be.
