So it has been a crazy couple of months as our world has been shaken with political injustice in various aspects of our lives, and racial injustice illuminated through the Black Lives Matter movement. There is still so so much work to be done, and I hope we all continue to do that work every single day, not just online and in the media, but in our homes, in every difficult conversation with have with a friend or family and in every difficult realization we make about ourselves and the gaps in our understanding and knowledge about the struggles of those who don’t look like us.

I hope we also find some light in these dark times, and hold on to those moments to build strength to show up genuinely and effectively when needed.

Something that has brought light to my days was this conversation with @DJLola.K for the next episode of the #CutTheSmallTalkPodcast, where she discusses how she learned how to DJ in just 30 days, and how that small step turned into a DJ career that has been growing successfully for the past 2 years! This story brought me so much inspiration, and I know it will for others, so have a listen!
