There are an endless number of inspiring people, places, and things that capture our focus and garner our attention. Yet God, in all His glory, wants us to fix our eyes on and be enraptured with Him first and foremost-the Creator of everything else.

The same hands that created the heavens and the earth are the hands that want to lift your burdens and give you rest. No one else can do this as God does. Tonight, as you read God’s Word and reflect on His creation, let your heart be filled with the fullness of His grace in your life. He loves you and longs to be praised by you.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: The psalmist reminds us that God’s beautiful creation is filled with His glory, revealing He is the one, true God. Find comfort in knowing you serve the Lord over all the nations, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Worship Him and praise His name for all that He has done.

CONFESSION: Think of a time when you had the opportunity to tell someone about the glory of God, but fear prevented you from sharing the Good News. Ask God for His forgiveness and for His strength and courage the next time an opportunity arises to declare His marvelous deeds.

THANKSGIVING: Praise the Lord for His glory and strength. Thank Him for setting you apart for the glory of His name. Thank Him for the beautiful blessings He has given you and for the wonderful things He has done for you.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, I want to give You the glory due to Your name and worship You with my whole heart. Because of You, my life is rich in love and filled with purpose. Because of You, I can be at rest and have supernatural peace. Help me to claim these promises today and to share in Your glory with others and give You all the credit You deserve. Let my love for You be contagious in a way that leads others to You. In Jesus’ great name, I pray. Amen.

PRAYER
“Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.”
PSALM 79:9
Dear Lord, tonight I rest in the truth of salvation. Yes, even in my wretchedness, You have displayed Your faithfulness. No voice of shame or degradation could ever destroy my confidence in Your salvation. Release my weary bones and tired mind from jealousy, bitterness, and pride. Tuck me into Your grace and rock me slowly in Your embrace. Help me tonight when thoughts of doubt creep in to steal my peace. Help others who are reeling from the same anxiety. Steady me. Remind me of Your goodness. As I sleep and steady my breathing, quiet my mind and speak truth to my soul. Wrap me in Your arms, and answer my prayer for peace. In Jesus’ name, I trust and pray, Amen.
