COVID-19 has absolutely pummeled the finances of countries around the world, and political parties are now using increasing deficits as a way to gain points on their competition.

Is the deficit really that bad under the circumstances, or do we need to hold our governments to account? Should governments be looking forward to how they expect to get out from under the increased spending caused by the pandemic? Will our grandchildren be paying for this with blood, sweat, and tears?
