Captain Moonlite, born Andrew George Scott, is one of Australia's most fascinating bushrangers, known for his colourful and tragic life. Born in 1842 in Ireland, Scott arrived in Australia as a convict, but it was his transformation into a notorious outlaw that would define his legacy. In the 1870s, after serving his sentence and becoming a preacher, Scott turned to a life of crime, beginning a career as a bushranger.
