PowerWhy owning who you are isn't arrogance.Have you ever met someone who walks into a room and you feel their presence before they ever say a word? They don't need to announce themselves. They don't need to be the loudest. They don't need everyone to agree with them. They don't need to prove how successful, intelligent, or powerful they are. They simply know who they are.We often confuse power with dominance, status, control, or arrogance. But real power isn't about being superior to anyone else.
Power is the ability to remain authentically yourself regardless of the audience.Because leadership isn't limited by knowledge. It's limited by the state of the nervous system applying that knowledge.Authentic power doesn't say, Nobody gets to affect me.It says:
Nobody else gets to define me.You can listen without surrendering yourself. You can be challenged without collapsing. You can be different without apologizing. You can take up space without taking space away from someone else. And you can allow another person to stand fully in their power without believing theirs threatens yours.Maybe power was never something you needed to acquire.Maybe it's what remains when you finally stop abandoning yourself.
In this episode, you'll discover:
  • Why real power has nothing to do with dominance, control, or superiority
  • The difference between authentic power and arrogance
  • Why people-pleasing can be a nervous system strategy for maintaining belonging
  • How shrinking, apologizing, and seeking approval quietly give your power away
  • Why standing fully in who you are can actually feel unsafe
  • How our ancient need for belonging still influences the way we lead, speak, and show up today
  • Why authority and internal power are not the same thing
  • How self-trust allows you to hear feedback without abandoning yourself
  • Why someone else's power never requires the diminishment of your own
  • What changes when you stop asking the room for permission to be yourself

Because owning your power isn't about becoming bigger than anyone else. It's finally refusing to become smaller than who you are.
