She graduated from high school and entered college in Nigeria. But, because of the poor electrical infrastructure, many nights she had to study her college work by candle light.Ten years ago, after her junior year of college, her whole family immigrated to the United States. The university she chose to attend in the US would not accept any of her Nigerian college credits.
