mostra di piùDespite a season ending injury, Aimie continues to have a significant impact on her team and the club with initiatives such as the Lifeline Round. In showcasing true leadership Aimie opens up about her own personal experience in seeking support.
We’re grateful to Aimie for this deeply reflective and thoughtful episode in sharing the profound impact of mental health and well-being on players, the differing elements of that, but also, it’s far reaching effect on loved ones and the community. It’s a timely reminder that mental health, statistically, is one of the biggest health considerations in society.
In seeking support and actively listening to personal cues, a forward-thinking proactive element proved to be a silver lining in Aimie’s journey of self-reflection and she is excited for the potential in her post professional sports career - one where strengths and values align.
Happy to journey with her team mates on the road as they make a strong finals run, the Flyers final home game is Saturday 4 March against Townsville Fire in a clash of the titans. The team is sponsoring $100 for each assist, and you can also contribute towards their $10,000 goal at the link below.
