mostra di piùAct 1: The Calling: People who are feeling unhappy and unfulfilled with their jobs, feeling of an unlived life inside them.
There is a movement in the world right now called “The Great Resignation”.
People are betting on themselves more than ever. There are a lot of people disenchanted with the 9-5 pm day job routine, and they are working on their own businesses.
There is a huge influx of entrepreneurs coming out of the pandemic.
Why do you think that is?
Some of my clients and I have been talking a lot about what their values are, their principles..these key beliefs are what make up your threshold.
After this threshold is crossed, or you feel your job is no longer congruent with your principles, your key beliefs - that’s where you’re likely to look elsewhere.
Just like a relationship that is no longer suites you.
The threshold is the 2nd Act in the Hero’s Journey. The point of no return. This is where you start to do some redefining, and some soul searching. Some define it as an existential crisis….who am I? what am I doing here?….and why?
It’s coming up on a year when I decided to follow this path. I took a 6-month sabbatical from my job and followed my calling, past the threshold and I’m having my period of rebirth. And I am ready to go back in for more.
The Hero’s Journey repeats itself throughout your life. As long as you answer the Calling. Your calling.
My call to action on this 3rd Act Thursday?
Activate your greatness and step into the life you were destined to live.
If you need help with that - I am here for you.
