read an article on meditation
knew I had to start small

but they tell me to go within me

But when I sit down
I feel like a clown
feel like my worst self
comes out
feels like I got nothing left to give, what a drought
sometimes I want to be out, of this earth,
when it feels like I ain’t got no worth

but then I realize
that’s just a story
in my mind replaying sometimes
it can get gory
but I can rewrite, the same damn story
to empower me, on the inside and give me some glory

sit down
find your truth
meditation, good for you
breath it in and out like you always gotta do

I promise you, we all tryin’ to do it now
if you’d seen what we went through you would ask, me how?
I don’t even know anymore think it’s God power, when it gets sweet and sour, I be grounded like a flower

didn’t know if meditation would work for me
but we ran it, 6 years later, yeah we fans of it
