mostra di piùAbout Carey Carpineta
CEO, AlliedUP Cooperative, Inc.
Carey Carpineta is AlliedUP’s founding CEO. She’s an 18-year veteran of the staffing industry. For eight-and-a-half years, she worked in innovation for Employbridge, LLC, the U.S.’s largest light industrial staffing company. There, Carey pioneered worker-first product initiatives as part of the company’s innovation team. She’s successfully established new markets, transformed declining markets, and inaugurated a flourishing, fully remote (pre-Covid) recruiting operation. She has been honored multiple times as a member of Employbridge’s President’s Club and Select Staffing’s Circle of Excellence, recognizing top performers in sales and operations growth.
Before her work in the staffing industry, Carey spent eight years working in senior leadership and founder roles in the technology industry, focusing on the enterprise software sector. She was the senior vice president of strategic partnerships for a start-up SaaS organization, responsible for raising seed capital and assisting in the company’s public offering through a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). Before that, Carey was vice president of national sales for a CRM company, where she grew national client accounts and assisted with a successful exit following an acquisition.
A CVS Health-Harris Poll National Health provided to Axios found that 80 percent of respondents are concerned about the shortage of health care workers. The poll found a significant number of Americans have been affected because of everything from canceled appointments to delayed surgeries and overcrowded hospitals. Axios reports that of the more than 2,000 adults polled Feb. 10–15, 45% had trouble scheduling appointments since spots are limited, 36% said their physician's offices are operating on reduced hours, and 21% reported that their physicians stopped practicing.
