Peter Russell studied mathematics and theoretical physics at Cambridge University (in the UK), and was a student of Stephen Hawking. He then became increasingly fascinated by the mysteries of the human mind and so changed to experimental psychology. Pursuing this interest, he traveled to India to study meditation and eastern philosophy. In the 1970s, he pioneered the introduction of human potential seminars and taught the top management at companies such as Apple, IBM, American Express and Shell. In 1982 he coined the term “Global Brain” with his 1980s bestselling book in which he predicted the Internet and the impact it would have. He is the author of 7 books, appears frequently on radio and television and gives keynote speeches at conferences all around the globe. He has spent a lifetime researching the untapped potentials of the human mind, and last but not the least he was described by Watkins Magazine as the 21st Most Spiritually Influential Living Person in the world.
