Jérôme Bernardino is a second-year master’s in Biocontrol Solutions for Plant Health student at the Université Côte d’Azur in Nice, France, under a full French government scholarship program. He recently conducted his master’s thesis in partnership with the Université Paris-Saclay.



Prior to his stint as a scholar in France, he worked as a Biology instructor at the University of the Philippines. Just recently, he earned the top spot in a PhD competition in the Bretagne region. He is now set to embark on a PhD in Plant Quantitative Disease Resistance at the Université d’Angers in France.
