The highways are nearly silent. They say the air we breathe is much cleaner. I'm sitting in the forest at 8:31 in the morning. I've always called this my true church. Here in the states we're headed into week three of the quarantine. Teens are missing their friends. Our jobs are now pictures on a computer screen connected to Google Meet or Zoom. Through the power of the universe I'm still getting the blessed opportunity to share conversations with some of the most creative people on the planet. Being a creative mind and heart I do walk down the path of how each person on a very honest level is bringing their art forward. We are seeing musicians do private concerts. Comedians are collaborating with other funny people to put on Saturday night live shows. It's all out there because we can't let our art just sit there. I've run into a lot of people that have made that choice. I hear the words "I'm gonna wait this out and get back to being me." I will not judge another creative mind or spirit but I will stand in the way of a journey that's taking on the image of silence. Don't shut off the art! We've all read the same books about how the greatest things come from places of darkness. Comedian Todd Riley is writing some of the most mind blowing funny stuff and he's not afraid to share it. Jim Peteric from Survivor recently released a new song fed by the darkness of the empty stage. Don't shut off the art. Let yourself grow in newer areas of exploration allowing your mind body and soul to be free of what once clogged you. This is a time for rebirth and delivery. You'll never get this opportunity again. Accept it as a gift and grow forward with your new age of being you.
