Southwest Airlines Executive Learns She is Adopted
Jennifer Paine, Sr. Director of Technology at Southwest Airlines, demonstrates the company’s values in every aspect of her life. A warrior spirit – a servant’s heart – a fun-luving attitude. That’s Jenn in a “NUTSHELL.”
As a leader in Southwest’s Technology department, Jenn’s natural inclination is to mentor others – just as she was mentored by non-other-than the company President Emeritus Colleen Barrett. Jenn feels it’s her responsibility to stay closely connected with her team. Even when it grew to 100 people, she invested time to engage one-on-one with every single person throughout the year. That’s commitment! That’s Jenn’s heart.
This same servant’s heart and warrior spirit led Jenn to seek her roots at the age of 40. She learned as a child that she was adopted but didn’t seek her birth mother’s identity until then.
Tune in to this extraordinary story of her process for finding her birth mother and reuniting with her extended family. It’s “never too late” to build family relationships.
