Discussion between the Jean Monnet Chair prof. Ramūnas Vilpišauskas, prof. Wolfgang Wessels and students of the IIRPS VU on the role of the European Council in times of crisis. The discussion covered how the European Council contributes to the management of major emerging crises and the EU's strategic agenda, with a particular focus on the contribution of the European Council to the management of the COVID-19 pandemic and the geopolitical crisis caused by Russia's war in Ukraine.

This discussion is part of the project "Teaching, researching and debating contemporary European issues" (TRENDS), co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

Jean Monnet Chair prof. Ramūno Vilpišausko ir prof. Prof. Wolfgang Wessels diskusija su Tarptautinių santykių ir politikos mokslų instituto (VU TSPMI) studentais/-ėmis apie Europos vadovų tarybos vaidmenį krizių metu. Driskusioje aptarta kaip EVT prisideda prie kylančių krizių valdymo ir ES strateginės darbotvarkės formavimo, ypač akcentuojant EVT indėlį į COVID-19 pandemijos ir Rusijos karo sukeltos geopolitinės krizės valdymą.

Diskusija yra projekto “Teaching, researching and debating contemporary European issues” (TRENDS) dalis, projektą (bendrai) finansavo Europos Sąjungos programa „Erasmus+.
