In this week’s episode we are discussing finding your inner leader and what it looks like to be a leader. We all lead someone and we all have an influence on somebody.
I hit on some key characteristics you see within a leader. Some of these include: vision, direction, influence, inspiration, good decision making, great communication, and more! *Tune in to hear all of the qualities of a good leader! ;)
Leadership is soo exciting when you really dive into who the leader is and that leader is, YOU! Being a leader is ever evolving, once you step into one vision you have the confidence to step into another vision, and another, and another. In order for you to have this feeling though, you have to do it!
What makes you think that you can’t be the best out there? You are literally capable of ANYTHING!
I know you may think at this moment that you are not a leader, but are there qualities on that list that you want to acquire because all of these qualities are teachable? What qualities do you want to learn?
One big takeaway within this episode is that if you are not leading yourself, you can’t lead other people.
Empathy is HUGE when it comes to leading other people. I think this is one thing a lot of companies lack in my opinion. My team knows that if they are not 100% they have the permission to express that.
It takes stepping into someone you have never been before. I understand, that can be scary but I promise you it is so worth it!
