December 17: Our God blesses the just and the need.

Psalm 112:1-10:
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man deals graciously and lends; he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; he will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies. He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted with honor. The wicked will see it and be grieved; he will gnash his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Psalm 113:5-9:
Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high, who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the earth? He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes— with the princes of His people. He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord!

Psalm 114:1-8:
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion. The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back. The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs. What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back? O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs? Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.


Psalm 112 is very similar to Psalm 15. It is a description of those who live in the path of righteousness, truth, good testimony, integrity and with a strong faith in God.
This person was a good steward and used his resources to wholeheartedly help those in need.
One of the best virtues developed by this person is that he would not fear any evil when he received bad news or when he was in difficult moments because he has always trusted that the Lord would guide and direct him to overcome all those situations.
A beautiful psalm to read periodically and to serve as a model to follow.

Psalm 113 is full of exaltations to the Lord because our God, being so great and powerful, longs to work in a humanity full of defects. I believe that it is because God is love, and He compassionates when He hears the cry of the needy, when He sees the condition of the helpless and does a miracle in them, transforming their life and taking them to places of importance. He also sees the suffering woman and grants her heart's request.
Don't forget to read chapter 113 in its entirety.

Psalm 114 is an account of the time when Israel left Egypt and when they went to the promised land. Specifically when Israel crossed dry in the middle of the Red Sea, and when they crossed the Jordan River unhindered, when God caused the flow to stop for all the people to pass through.
These two supernatural events still amaze scientists and historians.
In the same way, the Lord of Israel is the same today, and He will open the way for you to pass dry, your enemies will be surprised, and those who want to face you will faint!

Diciembre 17: Nuestro Dios bendice al justo y al necesitado.

Salmos 112:1‭-‬10 RVA2015:
¡Aleluya! Bienaventurado el hombre que teme al SEÑOR y en sus mandamientos se deleita en gran manera. Su descendencia será poderosa en la tierra; la generación de los rectos será bendita. Bienes y riquezas hay en su casa; su justicia permanece para siempre. En las tinieblas resplandece la luz para los rectos; él es clemente, misericordioso y justo. El hombre de bien tiene compasión y presta, y administra sus cosas con justicia. Por eso no resbalará jamás; para siempre será recordado el justo. De las malas noticias no tendrá temor; su corazón está firme, confiado en el SEÑOR. Afianzado está su corazón; no temerá, hasta que vea en sus enemigos su deseo. Esparce, da a los necesitados; su justicia permanece para siempre y su poderío será exaltado en gloria. Lo verá el impío y se irritará; crujirá los dientes y se consumirá. El deseo de los impíos perecerá.

Salmos 113:5‭-‬9 RVA2015:
¡Quién como el SEÑOR nuestro Dios, el que mora en lo alto y se humilla para mirar en el cielo y en la tierra! Levanta del polvo al pobre, y al necesitado enaltece desde la basura para hacerle sentar con los nobles, con los nobles de su pueblo. Él hace habitar en familia a la estéril, feliz de ser madre de hijos. ¡Aleluya!

Salmos 114:1‭-‬8 RVA2015:
Cuando Israel salió de Egipto, la casa de Jacob de un pueblo extranjero, Judá fue su santuario e Israel su señorío. El mar lo vio y huyó; el Jordán se volvió atrás. Los montes brincaron como carneros y las colinas como corderitos. ¿Qué tuviste, oh mar, para que huyeras? ¿Y tú, oh Jordán, para que te volvieras atrás? Oh montes, ¿por qué brincaron como carneros; y ustedes, oh colinas, como corderitos? Ante la presencia del SEÑOR tiembla la tierra; ante la presencia del Dios de Jacob quien convirtió la peña en estanque de aguas y el pedernal en manantial de aguas.


El salmo 112 es muy parecido al salmo 15. Es una descripción de aquellos que viven en el camino de la justicia, verdad, buen testimonio, integridad y con una fe firme en Dios.
Esta persona era un buen administrador y usaba sus recursos para ayudar de todo corazón al necesitado.
Una de las mejores virtudes desarrolladas por esta persona es que no temería mal alguno cuando recibiera malas noticias o cuando estuviera en momentos difíciles porque siempre ha confiado en que el Señor lo guiaría y lo dirigiría para sobreponerse sobre todas esas situaciones.
Hermoso salmo para leerlo periódicamente y que nos sirva de modelo a seguir.

El salmo 113 está lleno de exaltaciones al Señor porque nuestro Dios, siendo tan grande y poderoso, anhela obrar en una humanidad llena de defectos. Creo que es porque Dios es amor, y Él se compadece cuando escucha el clamor del necesitado, cuando ve la condición del desamparado y hace un milagro en él, transformando su vida y llevándolo a lugares de importancia. También ve a la mujer que sufre y le concede la petición de su corazón.
No olvides leer completamente el capítulo 113.

El salmo 114 es un recuento del momento cuando Israel salió de Egipto y cuando pasaron a la tierra prometida. Específicamente cuando Israel cruzó en seco en medio del Mar Rojo, y cuando cruzaron sin obstáculos el río Jordán, cuando Dios hizo que se detuviera el caudal para que pasara todo el pueblo.
Estos dos eventos sobrenaturales todavía asombran a los científicos e historiadores.
De la misma forma, el Señor de Israel es el mismo de hoy, y Él abrirá camino para que pases en seco, tus enemigos se sorprenderán, y desmayarán los que quieran hacerte frente!
