December 14: With God we will do feats.

Psalms 108:1-13:
O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your mercy is great above the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and Your glory above all the earth; that Your beloved may be delivered, save with Your right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in His holiness: “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth. Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver. Moab is My washpot; over Edom I will cast My shoe; over Philistia I will triumph.” Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom? Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.


We studied Psalm 107 yesterday, beginning the fifth and final division of the book of Psalms. In most of these psalms you will notice that there are many expressions of praise and exaltation to the Lord.
This psalm expresses 2 feelings: the psalmist described how he was in the area of ​​his faith: feeling strong and firm in the ways of the Lord. His faith was 100% in the Lord and that is why he exclaimed that he is going to adore Him with all his heart and with all his soul. But at the same time he was pleading with the Lord to help them in the battles because apparently at that moment they were feeling oppressed by the enemies.
I really like this point where the psalmist has reached spiritual maturity. The struggles and battles that he was going through were not producing in him disbelief, fear or discouragement. At that moment he was putting his faith in the Lord into action; reminding the Lord of all the great things that He has done for generations and also affirming the identity that they had as children of God, as chosen and loved.
It is a very intimate and firm way of crying out to God.

When you are sure of who called you, chose you and blessed you, tribulations or demonic attacks will be easier to confront. There are many Christians, children of God, washed with the precious blood of Christ and aware of the power of the name of Jesus who are still full of insecurities and fears, feeling unworthy to enter the presence of God, they don't feel the freedom to ask anything of Him. They freeze to think how big God is and how small they are. They assume that if God knows our needs, we shouldn't ask Him for anything and let God be the one to do something if He wants.
We must change that mentality and understand that God knows all our needs but He needs us to move by faith and take action, believing that the Lord will hear our prayer. When we pray to the Lord, we are saying: "Lord, intervene in this situation because You are in control of my life." The Lord likes to intervene in any situation where there are people who have faith.
This is how we will perform feats in the name of the Lord, when we stand in front of a mountain and cry out to the Lord to remove it or help us climb victoriously.
Raise your trust in the Lord, invoke the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and begin to do feats with God, your family will sew how they come out of adversity and rise above the heights, overthrowing any plan of the adversary and serving the Lord all together.

Diciembre 14: Con Dios haremos proezas.

Salmos 108:1‭-‬13 RVA 2015:
Mi corazón está firme, oh Dios; cantaré y entonaré salmos aun con mi alma. ¡Despierten, oh arpa y lira! Despertaré al alba. Te alabaré entre los pueblos, oh SEÑOR; a ti cantaré salmos entre las naciones. Porque grande, más que los cielos, es tu misericordia; y hasta las nubes, tu verdad. ¡Seas exaltado sobre los cielos, oh Dios; y sobre toda la tierra, tu gloria! Salva con tu diestra y respóndenos de modo que sean librados tus amados. Dios ha hablado en su santuario: “¡Cómo me regocijo! Repartiré a Siquem y mediré el valle de Sucot. Mío es Galaad y mío es Manasés. Efraín es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá es mi cetro. Moab es la vasija en que me lavo; sobre Edom echaré mis sandalias, y sobre Filistea lanzaré mi grito de victoria”. ¿Quién me guiará a la ciudad fortificada? ¿Quién me conducirá hasta Edom? ¿No serás tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado, y que ya no sales, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos? Danos socorro ante el enemigo pues vana es la liberación que da el hombre. Con Dios haremos proezas, y él aplastará a nuestros enemigos.


Ayer estudiamos el salmo 107, dando comienzo a la quinta y última división del libro de los salmos. En la mayoría de estos salmos vas a notar que hay muchas expresiones de alabanza y exaltación al Señor.
Este salmo expresa 2 sentimientos: el salmista describió cómo se encontraba en el área de su fe: sintiéndose fuerte y firme en los caminos del Señor. Su fe estaba puesta 100% en el Señor y por eso exclamó que lo va adorar con todo su corazón y con toda su alma. Pero a la misma vez estaba suplicando al Señor que los ayudara en las batallas porque al parecer en ese momento se estaban sintiendo oprimidos por los enemigos.
Me gusta mucho este punto donde el salmista ha llegado a una madurez espiritual. Las luchas y las batallas que estaba pasando no estaban produciendo en él incredulidad, temor o desánimo. En ese momento él estaba poniendo en acción su fe en el Señor; recordando al Señor todas las grandezas que Él ha hecho por generaciones y también afirmando la identidad que ellos tenían como hijos de Dios, como elegidos y amados.
Es una forma muy íntima y firme de clamar a Dios.

Cuando estás seguro de quién te llamó, te escogió y te bendijo, las tribulaciones o ataques demoníacos serán más fáciles de confrontar. Existen muchos cristianos, hijos de Dios, lavados con la sangre preciosa de Cristo y conocedores del poder del nombre de Jesús que todavía están llenos de inseguridades y temores, sintiéndose indignos de entrar a la presencia de Dios, no sienten la libertad para pedirle cualquier cosa. Ellos se paralizan al pensar cuán grande es Dios y cuán pequeños son ellos. Ellos asumen que si Dios conoce nuestras necesidades, nosotros no debemos pedirle nada y dejar que Dios sea el que haga algo si Él quiere.
Debemos cambiar esa mentalidad y entender que Dios conoce todas nuestras necesidades pero Él necesita que nosotros nos movamos por fe y tomemos acción, creyendo que el Señor va a escuchar nuestra oración. Cuando oramos al Señor, estamos diciéndole: "Señor, interviene en esta situación porque Tú tienes el control de mi vida". Al Señor le agrada intervenir en cualquier situación donde hay personas que tienen fe.
Así es como haremos proezas en el nombre del Señor, cuando nos paramos en frente de una montaña y clamamos al Señor para que la remueva o nos ayude escalar victoriosamente.
Eleva tu confianza en el Señor, invoca el nombre del Señor Jesucristo y comienza a hacer proezas con Dios, tu familia verá cómo salen de la adversidad y se elevan sobre las alturas, derribando cualquier plan del adversario y sirviendo al Señor todos juntos.
