This episode, Harry wanders around Chicago looking for the spots of dark energy that he was directed to by Morty's ghosts, and the second stop at the Field Museum turns out to be a crime scene. Not just any crime scene, either; a scientist was murdered in one of the offices in an incredibly grisly way that requires certain body parts to be displayed in a baggie beside the corpse in the morgue. Yeesh. Harry discusses things with Rawlins, a cop who knows that what Harry deals with is real because he himself came face to face with a monster years ago that only got stopped by a shotgun full of rock salt.
The next stop is the morgue, and Harry brings Butters so they can try to figure out what the hell Grevane wanted him for. Someone else wants to get into the morgue too, and Harry recognizes Alicia and Li, the alleged students that went missing after their superior was murdered at the field museum. Turns out they're not human, and Harry realizes him and Butters have to get out of there, fast. They take off with the thumb drive found in Bony Tony's corpse, and head to Billy and Georgia's to see what's on it.
