Het kruis, een wanstaltig moordwerktuig, staat centraal in het christelijk geloof. Waar de heersende macht Jezus met het kruis doodde en dacht hem het zwijgen op te leggen, was het God die machtig handelde en ons samenbrengt rondom het kruis.

In aanloop naar Pasen volgen een viertal samenkomsten over de reikwijdte van dit kruis. N.a.v. 1 Korinthe 1:18-25 en 2:1-5.
