In this episode, we talk about Cleantech and Sustainability. We elaborate how Business, Economy and Technology can be key towards sustainability when combined. We learn how humanity can be smart and very dumb at the same time and what we can improve in regard to turning facts into actions. We discuss positive social tipping points and the necessity to internalise costs that are externalised today and how this will shift our economy and society automatically. Policy is key and it needs to set the framework for change and we discuss differences of Cleantech in North America, Europe and Asia. We take a look at renewables and ways on how to speed up and accelerate sustainable technologies like wind, solar and green hydrogen. David shares success stories and promising industry and technology trends and we evaluate different driving forces around the world. It is a fact that we are currently totally missing CO2 reduction targets and that we are doomed if we are not changing fast. The main bottleneck is people and we need individuals to implement promising technologies and make a change. Finally, we discuss how to follow your heart and your passions when choosing a job and how money will start coming in automatically if you find the right career.
