Steve's guest is Daniel Pinkwater, the long time commentator on "All Things Considered" and other NPR programs. He's also an excellent children's author with dozens of books under his belt. On this podcast, Steve and Daniel read his book, "Ducks" with sound effects and all. Steve also plays a commentary that aired on NPR's "All Things Considered," Harry falls in love with a broom and wants Steve to make her talk so Harry can ask her out on a date. Oy. Earlier in the podcast, Harry two times Steve with Steve's girlfriend. Turns out, she's been dating all of the characters that Steve has created, unbeknownst to him. When he discovers this, he threatens to fire them all and create a new cast of voice characterizations. Steve and Harry also present a Strange Facts segment. Think Ripley's Believe it or not. Or not.
