Kayhan Vaziri, of the band Yautja, is such an intriguing man. Well spoken, purposeful, and lacking snark, my conversation with Kayhan was exactly like I'd hoped it would be. His mind-blowingly heavy band, Yautja, is currently riding a singular wave that he and his band mates have crafted.

When I first heard Yautja, I wasn't so sure it was my jam, but as I'd mentioned to Kayhan, within a few moments, coupled with the right medium to hear the music (headphones are your friend!), I knew I'd stumbled onto something real, inspired, and original as it gets. These guys don't wear their influences on their sleeve. They burn the clothing. Yautja loves all things in music. This is destiny we're talking about, people.
