Our guest, Burju Perez, was born in Istanbul, raised in New York City, and now resides in Massachusetts.

She is a shoe designer and business owner, who ran a very successful Latin dance company and toured the entire world as a professional dancer, achieving many honors and awards, including “International Best Artist” and “International Best Instructor” in 2007 at the United Kingdom Salsa Congress.

While her dancing career proved to be rewarding, Burju’s desire to fully embrace her own fashion, style and art sense encouraged her to launch Burju Shoes in April 2009.

Burju Shoes brings a unique collection of stylish, yet highly functional and comfortable designer shoes to the everyday woman.
