I'm not Stern nor do I try to be Bo Thompson on WBT. I have 7 to 15 seconds to make a connection with radio listeners on the loose. I'm grateful everyday that WLYT in Moorsesville, NC gives me the opportunity to slip into a thought and share a vision. Being an on air talent versus a talk show host is an experience beyond what listeners know. The goal is to captivate within the given seconds and not waste ten minutes in a conversation that shouldn't have materialized. I respect those that are gifted with time to talk. But the true art of radio is doing it in the least amount of time.
