Yvonne started out as a classroom teacher but saw a need to get a second master's degree in clinical psychology. She then met her husband, moved across the state, and put that degree to use as a trainer and counselor for an employee assistance program. She later pivoted to heading up a human resource department. Retirement brought another pivot when she published her first book, Flying with Dad: A Daughter. A Father. And the Hidden Gifts from His WWII Stories.
