One of the many cases has New York actor, Asia Argento accusing popular Hollywood Director Harvey Weinstein of rape. Asia Argento is one of the leading voices behind the #metoo movement. This case has brought up an important issue of consent and when can it be revoked. There have been many cases when people state that they did not give their consent for certain actions to happen and then they are accused of rape or sexual assault.
What is consent?
Consent is permission given willingly and knowingly by someone. Consent is the permission given for something to happen or an agreement to do something.
