Just 10 days ago, the Ohio State men's basketball team controlled its own destiny to win the Big Ten regular-season championship and earn a double-bye in the conference tournament. They just needed to beat four teams below them in the league standings, including cellar-dwellers Maryland and Nebraska.

Now, after dropping three of those four games, Chris Holtmann's team enters the conference tournament as the sixth seed, and facing an uphill climb in both the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments.

So what went wrong, and can it get fixed before the postseason tips off?
