Etapa número 12 de la Vuelta a España 2024. Jornada donde se iba desde OURENSE TERMAL hasta LA ESTACIÓN DE MONTAÑA DE MANZANEDA en una etapa corta, monopuerto, con solo 137,4 kilometros y ese final en alto de manzaneda, puerto de primera categoría.  

Jornada donde no ha tomado la salida el corredor Lennert Van Eetvelt en un día triste para el mundo del ciclismo por el fallecimiento de Manolo Azcona.  

Día en el que ha llegado la fuga y donde se ha dado la primera victoria española en esta Vuelta a España, conseguida para mas inri por el equipo continental español del KERN PHARMA y donde todo el equipo y los corredores han querido rendir homenaje al fundador del mismo Manolo Azcona.  

Día tranquilo para los hombres de la general que entraban a más de seis minutos del ganador y donde ni tan siquiera ha habido ataques aunque nos ha sido intrascendente con ese final tan emotivo y vibrante.     

Mañana etapa número 13 de la carrera. Jornada de montaña con salida en LUGO y que llegará al PUERTO DE ANCARES en un recorrido de 176 kilometros.   ¿crees que mañana debe atacar ENRIC MAS?¿perderá tiempo BEN O´CONNOR?¿pensáis que llega la fuga o será para los de la general?

Stage number 12 of the 2024 Vuelta a España. A day that went from OURENSE TERMAL to LA ESTACIÓN DE MONTAÑA DE MANZANEDA in a short, single-mountain stage, with only 137.4 kilometers and that uphill finish at Manzaneda, a first-category climb.   A day when the rider Lennert Van Eetvelt did not start, in a sad day for the cycling world due to the passing of Manolo Azcona.  

A day when the breakaway succeeded, resulting in the first Spanish victory in this Vuelta a España, achieved, to add to the poignancy, by the Spanish continental team KERN PHARMA, where the entire team and riders wanted to pay tribute to its founder, Manolo Azcona.  

It was a calm day for the general classification contenders, who finished more than six minutes behind the winner, and there were no attacks, although it was inconsequential given such an emotional and thrilling finish.   Tomorrow is stage number 13 of the race. A mountain stage starting in LUGO and finishing at the PUERTO DE ANCARES, covering a distance of 176 kilometers.
