Etapa 3 de esta Vuelta a España 2024. Etapa con 191,2 kilometros de recorrido de media montaña que nos llevaba desde la localidad de LOUSA hasta CASTELO BRANCO y que ponía fin a esta travesía por tierras lusas.  

Jornada donde los equipos invitados el KERN PHARMA y el EUSKALTEL-EUSKADI han vuelto a ser los protagonistas en una etapa calurosa cercana a los 40 grados de temperatura y que nos dejaban imágenes tan icónicas como la de los bomberos pulverizando agua al paso de los corredores para que se refrescaran a su paso.  

Ultima etapa por tierras lusas y que ha terminado con el líder de la general imponiéndose en el sprint final con ese maillot rojo y tomándose así la revancha frente a Kaden Groves. 

Mañana primera etapa con final en alto ya por tierras españolas y que irá desde PLASENCIA hasta el PICO VILLUERTA con una jornada de montaña de 170,5 kilometros de recorrido.  

¿quien pinesas que ganará mañana?¿llega fuga o la victoría estará entre los de la general? ¿que opinais de que esta edición haya contado con 3 etapas fuera del territorio nacional?

Stage 3 of this Vuelta a España 2024. A stage with 191.2 kilometers of medium mountain terrain that took us from the town of LOUSA to CASTELO BRANCO, marking the end of this journey through Portuguese lands.  

A day where the invited teams KERN PHARMA and EUSKALTEL-EUSKADI once again took center stage in a hot stage with temperatures close to 40 degrees, providing iconic images such as firefighters spraying water on the riders as they passed by to cool them down. 

The last stage on Portuguese soil ended with the general classification leader winning the final sprint in that red jersey, thus taking revenge against Kaden Groves. 

Tomorrow, the first stage with a summit finish will take place on Spanish soil, going from PLASENCIA to PICO VILLUERTA, with a mountain day covering 170.5 kilometers. Who do you think will win tomorrow? Will a breakaway succeed, or will the victory be contested among the general classification contenders? What do you think about this edition having three stages outside the national territory?
