Nick Kendell and Carl Dumler turn their eyes ahead for the Broncos' home opener against Vic Fangio's old squad, the Chicago Bears. The Broncos offense showed life against the Raiders last week, but the vaunted Bears defense is an entirely different beast. With talent at every level of the defense, the Broncos are going to have to play keep away and protect the football to give themselves a chance. Fortunately, the Bears defense is nothing to write home about for the Broncos' defense. The Bears have talent on offense along the offensive line and as the skill positions, but Mitchell Trubisky is quickly devolving into the next 'Blake Bortles' as a bad quarterback on a good team. Can the Broncos continue their string of early-season home dominance, or will they fall to 0-2 with their hopes of the playoff falling off fast? We will see, but consider this matchup a must-win for Denver.
