Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton indicated that rookie quarterback Bo Nix is expected to sit out the team’s final preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings. While the young signal-caller likely concludes his summer with a strong statistical performance, many other players will utilize this exhibition as a final roster audition. The team also recently moved on from veteran safety Taylor Rapp, though coaching staff suggested he may rejoin the squad in the near future. This roster transition occurs as the organization finalizes its 53-man lineup and practice squad ahead of the regular season. Other updates include the signing of several new defensive and offensive players to bolster depth before the upcoming schedule begins. Overall, the source highlights a critical period of evaluation and roster management for the Denver franchise.
