Throughout history we find accounts of supernatural entities taking the form of human children in order to deceive humans. Spiriting away human children or luring unsuspecting travelers into the deep dark woods. Often we find these entities appearing in pairs and those unfortunate enough to have encountered these creatures recall deep seated feelings of unease and dread.
