As he grapples with his strange new reality, Myles discovers that the planet is dominated by towering ant-men, who have enslaved the Cupians, a more humanoid race. Captured almost immediately, Myles faces the daunting challenge of communicating with his six-foot-tall insectile captors‚Aîcreatures that appear completely deaf and mute. Amidst his struggles, he encounters Lilla, a stunning Cupian maiden, who has also been abducted from her people. Together, they must find a way to break free from their oppressors, using all of Myles ingenuity to help Lilla and her kin reclaim their freedom. The adventure continues in the subsequent novels The Radio Beasts (1925) and The Radio Planet (1926). (Summary by Daryl Hanson)
