E' un giovedì come gli altri quando la SED convoca i giornalisti di tutto il mondo per una conferenza stampa di routine. Ma una risposta apparentemente banale che il portavoce del partito Günter Schabowski dà al corrispondente italiano dell'Ansa Riccardo Hermann innesca la reazione dei cittadini delle due Germanie, che stanno seguendo la conferenza in diretta televisiva. Di lì a pochissimo, il muro cade, dopo 28 anni dalla sua costruzione.
