American Greed featured a story on Lashonda and Marlon Moore who were sued back in 2021 for the pyramid scheme/scam known as the Blessing Loom. Back in 2020, during the pandemic, scams were popping up rapidly in the black community around investing money in a investment circle and getting a return of 8 times or more of what you put in 30 days later. The Moores were running their own Blessing Loom and had received millions. However, many of the trusting people starting demanding their money and the Moores could not pay them back.

Angelina had warned of this scam on her podcast back in 2020 that this was illegal and to not get involved. So how do you avoid losing your money to scams like the Blessing Loom? Angelina goes over the five questions you should ask yourself before investing.
